4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing Personal Data
The customer register is used for managing customer relationships and communication, as well as a sales and marketing tool. The legal basis for processing personal data is JIS-Automation Oy’s legitimate interest, contract, consent, customer order, or assignment. The use of the customer register complies with the Finnish Personal Data Act to the extent applicable.

Personal data is generally stored as long as the customer relationship is active.
6. Regular Sources of Information
Information about customers and potential customers is primarily obtained directly from them during interactions (e.g., via email, phone calls, customer meetings). If necessary, information can also be collected from public/commonly available sources (e.g., the internet and trade register). Information about users of our websites is obtained during website visits.
Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics cookies embedded on our website collect information about how visitors use our site. Anonymous data collected by cookies includes the number of people who have visited the site, where visitors have come from, and which pages they visit.
7. Disclosures of Information
Personal data is not regularly disclosed to third parties outside JIS-Automation Oy unless required by law enforcement authorities. Notwithstanding the above, information may be transferred to third parties selected by the data controller, who process the data on behalf of the data controller based on a cooperation agreement between the parties. We have ensured that our service providers comply with data protection legislation.
We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.
8. Principles of Register Protection
We use the following security measures to ensure the security of the customer register:
• The register is processed with care, and the information pro-cessed using information systems is appropriately protected.
• Only employees who are authorized to process customer infor-mation as part of their work are entitled to use the customer register.
• Each user has their own username and password for the system containing the customer register.
• Electronically processed information in the register is protected by firewalls, passwords, and other generally accepted technical means in the field of information security.
• Regular backups are taken from the register.
9. Rights
The data subject has the following rights, and you can contact our contact person Jouni Isokivi at regarding these matters:
• Right of inspection
o You have the right to inspect your registered information. If there are any errors, you can request us to correct them.
• Right to erasure
o If you feel that the processing of your information is not necessary for us, you can request us to delete your information.
• Right to prohibit direct marketing
o You have the right to prohibit direct marketing. However, JIS-Automation Oy never sells or discloses your information to a third party.
• Right to lodge a complaint
o You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if you feel that we are in breach of applicable legislation.
10. Changes to the Privacy Statement
